Alaine Kashian is an actress, singer, and dancer. She is known for her work on The Nevermore Chronicles, Carmen Sandiego’s Great Chase Through Time, and Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego. After graduating from NYU, Alaine performed the musical, Cats. Currently, Alaine works as a life coach and fitness coach while being a single mother to two boys. As a life coach, Alaine believes in the power of taking risks to build up confidence in yourself.

In this episode, we talk about sex, the power of what you tell yourself and how to lean into that fear instead of scooting away from it, and Alaine’s Broadway career amongst other things. Alaine speaks about how she overcame her insecurity of singing and dancing and how building her self-esteem and confidence helped her book more and more tours. She explains what changed her mind about the fear of pregnancy and motherhood and what her pregnancy was like. Women’s empowerment and teaching her children through leading by example are important to Alaine. She notes that you don’t need to be validated by other people to know yourself and who you are
